Ammae Millet Kanchi Idly, 150 gms
Ingredients: Kodo Millet (varagu), Black gram dal (urad dal), Cumin seeds, Pepper, Dry ginger, Asafoetida powder, Fenugreek, Salt.
Serves: 3 Persons
Method of Preparation:
- Step 1. 1. To one measure of Idly mix add one measure of water and one measure of soar curd.
- Step 2: Mix thoroughly to form an Idly batter. Wait for 20 min.
- Step 3. Grease the idly plate with oil and pour the batter. Steam it in the pressure cooker for 20 mins and allow the pressure to release.
- Step 4. Allow plates with Idly to cool for a minute, use a wet spoon to remove the idly from the mold to serve hot.
I mixed kanchi idly batter with semiya and made idlys. They were Yummy. All my family members enjoyed it. Thank U ammae!
